The new @newstreetmarketwoodbridge is here! A beautiful place to hang out, have lunch, meet and shop. It is also the location of our new #foodproducersclub Pantry, where customers can buy FPC members' products all day, every day.

The HUGEST of thank yous to Sean at @alde_cafe for being the hosting venue for today's #foodproducersclub event. Sean treated us to coffees and delicious bacon butties (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) while we all talked through the highs and lows of small business life.

Loads of ideas were shared today about what we should do at the next event. Plans are already underway - it will be in May at @newstreetmarketwoodbridge.

Today brought founding members and old friends together with new members and newly engaged businesses. A great mix.

@aldeburghfood festival 2024 was a great success,

@aldeburghfood festival 2024 was a great success, with 130 local producers trading, approx 12k shoppers, 30 demo'ing chefs, lots of press, and countless successful purchases and new customers for local businesses.

I spend the whole year fundraising to make the weekend festival happen, and about 6 months planning and delivering it. It's a beast but it's all to nurture the East coast's foodie ecosystem and promote local, high quality, high provenance foods made by local entrepreneurs.

The Food Producers Club idea was born out of the festival, realising that local businesses could benefit from their community year round. With an online chat forum, member directory, socials, events and training, we're hoping to benefit the food and drink industry in East Anglia from the inside.

Next weekend will mark my third @aldeburghfood festival. During the last few years I have met hundreds of producers, entrepreneurs, chefs and business people and together they all make the festival the weekend that it is. Their stories and experiences inspired the start of The Producers Club, which will be launching to all in the next few weeks. In the meantime, please bear with me, and if you're free next weekend make sure you're at the "best food festival in the UK" next weekend! 🍓
